# DialMCP > A hosted remote MCP server that lets an MCP-enabled AI agent place a real outbound phone call on a user's behalf, using the user's own SMS-verified caller ID. ## What DialMCP is DialMCP connects AI agents to the phone network through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It places calls to US and Canadian numbers, navigates phone trees and hold, and returns a structured outcome, transcript, and recording link. Calls are asynchronous: `place_call` returns a call ID and the agent polls `get_call` for progress and results. DialMCP is built by Datawizz Inc., the makers of Gamut. It is free during launch. ## Connect - Remote MCP endpoint: `https://mcp.dialmcp.com/mcp` - Transport: Streamable HTTP - Authentication: OAuth 2.1 with SMS verification - Remote clients do not need an install or API key. - Clients that only support local MCP servers can use the MIT-licensed [`dialmcp-connector` stdio bridge](https://github.com/SkillfulAgents/dialmcp-connector). ## Supported clients Any MCP client that supports remote Streamable HTTP servers with OAuth can connect. returns a call ID immediately. - `get_call` — fetch call status, progress, transcript, recording link, and structured resolution. - `end_call` — hang up an in-progress call. - `list_calls` — list recent calls and outcomes for the authenticated user. ## Safety and limits Safety controls are enforced server-side rather than left to the agent's instructions. Every call discloses that it is an AI assistant, who it is calling for, and that the call is recorded. Calls use the user's verified caller ID; caller-ID spoofing is not used. - US and Canada only. - Calls are permitted from 8:00 to 21:00 in the destination's local time. - One concurrent call, three calls per hour, and ten calls per day. - No more than two calls per day to the same destination. - Six-minute default duration and ten-minute hard cap. - Emergency services, premium-rate lines, and high-fraud ranges are blocked. - Permanent do-not-call opt-outs are enforced platform-wide. - Telemarketing, cold outreach, robocalling, surveys, lead generation, debt collection, and political outreach are prohibited.
